Ergonomic Assessments

The Ottawa Physiotherapy and Sport Clinics also provide ergonomic assessments which examine the relationship between the worker and the work environment to create a setting that enhances both human performance and well being.

What can you expect from an ergonomic evaluation?

• Individualized assessment
• A comprehensive report containing:
  • workstation evaluation
  • identification of potentially hazardous working conditions
  • recommendations to prevent or decrease the occurrence of injuries

An ergonomic assessment for an individual workstation takes approximately 1 hour to complete. The extent of the service is dependent upon the client's request.

Many employee health care plans cover the cost of an ergonomic assessment. We provide this service at the Barrhaven physiotherapy, Westboro physiotherapy and Orleans physiotherapy locations.
